Papelote!

Papelote has reinvented paper. Thier products all center around seemingly banal items such as a note pads, sketchbooks and stationary, yet they breath with a sexiness that defies the medium. The first time I came across thier products was at Design Blok this past year. There was a crowd around the table, so I knew there was something worth seeing. Sure enough the items they had on display were easily the best things from the whole exhibition. Best of all it’s Czech! I kept having a strange desire to pile it all up on the floor and roll around in it.

Be sure to check them out. They sell stuff in various spots around Prague, but the word on the street is that they are opening a shop of their own. Keep an eye out for more design candy from these guys (and gals).
